Erykah Badu Pays Fine For “Window Seat” Video

According to a Dallas city spokesman, Erykah Badu has paid a fine of $500 because of her controversial video for “Window Seat” which showed her stripping at Dealy Plaza, where President John F. Kennedy was fatally shot in 1963.
Dallas police used a disorderly conduct charge against the songstress after a witness complaint about the nudity in the public area. There were also children among the extras for the video shoot. Brooklyn dance punk duo Matt and Kim – whose video for “Lesson Learned” served as an inspiration for Ms. Badu’s clip – do not face any legal consequences.
A spokeswoman for Erykah did not comment on this issue.
