Drake‘s If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late has officially become the first album released in 2015 to reach platinum status and sell over a million copies. At over 1 million sold, If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late is the fourth album by Drake to earn a platinum spot. The record also debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard charts when it hit retailers back on February 12. As Billboard reports, Taylor Swift’s 2014 LP 1984 is the only other album to sell a million copies this year. He may be embroiled in a high-profile beef, but that certainly isn’t hampering his success.
