'Slice' Starring Chance the Rapper Gets a Gory Cartoon Poster
Featuring a decapitated Little Caesars mascot.

Chance the Rapper is set to appear in the forthcoming Austin Vesely-directed film Slice. He will be starring as Dax Lycander – a werewolf and deliver boy. Today, Chance shares the film’s new, slightly gory poster which sees a decapitated Little Caesars mascot. Unfortunately the teaser does not provide any other detail regarding the upcoming film. A release date has not been announced yet.
A clip of the movie was released back in October 2017. The plot centers around the murder of a pizza delivery guy and the surrounding secrecy behind his death with suspects consisting of a group of drug dealers and a werewolf. Austin Vesely, the film’s director, is a longtime collaborator of Chance and has helmed a number of the rapper’s music videos. The film will be shot by A24 — the house behind the Oscar-winning movie Moonlight.
On top of working on this film, Chance has been busy with a few music projects as of late. He recently released four new songs and appeared on DJ Khaled’s “No Brainer” alongside Justin Bieber and Quavo. He’s also working on new tracks with Kanye West and Childish Gambino.
Check out the poster below via Chance’s tweet. In other music news, watch Mac Miller and Thundercat perform on NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert.
