TMZ has reported Chance the Rapper‘s security guard Star Thomas has been arrested for battery.

The altercation took place inside of Chicago’s W Hotel, where according to reports, Thomas body slammed a man in the hotel’s lobby. Two hours prior, it’s said Thomas prevented the man from entering an elevator with Chance. Thomas was arrested at the W on August 3, The Chicago Police confirmed. He was released on a $1500 USD bond early that morning.

Chance’s bodyguard was booked for misdemeanor simple battery. Sources have reached out to his camp for a comment to no response.
