With the next NBA season just around the corner, adidas is beginning to deliver more signature shoes for its brand athletes.

Marking Derrick Rose‘s second season with the Minnesota Timberwolves, the German sportswear brand put together a regal “Black/Gold” colorway for the D Rose 9. This time around, the court-ready model is done up in a royal manner with the black Primeknit upper coupled with gold branding embroidery at the heel. Relatively simple in design, multi-directional stripes standout as the main accenting element of the shoe. Continuing the minimalist look of the upper is a full-length BOUNCE-infused sole unit assisted by Adiwear technology.

Check out the “Black/Gold” D Rose 9 above and look for the royal court-ready model to hit select adidas Basketball retailers later this summer.

In case you missed it, adidas’s Falcon model is set to release in a “Triple White” colorway.
