One of the south’s greatest living artists has plans to get back into the rap game. Following the release of the soulful “Gametime” single, UGK legend Bun B has formally announced his first new studio project in four years. The follow-up to 2013’s Trill OG: The EpilogueExtended Play is billed as an EP and currently scheduled for a August 28 release date. Bun B’s upcoming album will also be supported with a new visual in support of its lead record “Gametime,” which has been promoted with a cinematic teaser-trailer shot inside of Houston’s NRG Stadium. Unlike many of the Trill OG’s past releases, his new project will also be an independent effort.

You can check out the trailer for Bun B’s new “Gametime” video above, and expect his upcoming Extended Play EP to drop on August 28.
