After much delays — completed in 2015, delayed in 2016 and 2017 — Stefan Ruzowitzky’s Patient Zero is finally set to release this year. The thriller stars Doctor Who‘s Matt Smith, Game of Thrones‘s Natalie Dormer and jack-of-all-trades Stanley Tucci. Smith and Dormer take the lead as scientists seeking to find the cure for a pandemic virus, one that infects ordinary people and turns them into what initially appear to be mindless zombies. Tensions rise as the creatures invade the nuclear bunker used as a shelter by the uninfected, cutting down on time necessary to seek out a cure to the virus by way of the source of the virus, patient zero.
