Nas & Erykah Badu Team up on the Soulful "This Bitter Land" Track
The rapper and songstress connect for ‘The Land’s’ motion picture soundtrack.
Legendary artists Nas and Erykah Badu collaborate on a special cut from the upcoming film directed by Steven Caple Jr. entitled, The Land. Set in Cleveland, Ohio, the story surrounds a group of young men facing adversity while aspiring to make things better through their dreams of becoming professional skateboarders. To encapsulate the mood and feel of the tale, the movie tapped the likes of Kanye West, Erykah Badu and Nas to appear on the soundtrack. Here we get the soulful songstress and the iconic Queensbridge rapper on a track called, “This Bitter Land” – the song is a powerful and soulful ballad that helps listeners imagine the sadness, hopes, tragedies and triumphs of the streets.
