JAY-Z's '4:44' Gets OG Ron C's Chopped Not Slopped Treatment
Remixed, the Houston way.

Just last week, JAY-Z dropped his 13th studio album 4:44 marking a four-year long followup to Magna Carta… Holy Grail. Now HOVA’s latest offering has been remixed by Houston’s own OG Ron C. Injecting his signature chopped-not-slopped treatment, the 10-track album features classic JAY samples such as “Dirt Off Your Shoulder” and “Feelin’ It.” Ron C even deliberately chose to open the album with “The Story Of OJ” thus moving “Kill JAY-Z” back down a slot. Check out the OG Ron C and the Chopstars’ chopped-not-slopped remix here.
In case you’ve missed it, JAY-Z broke down the meaning to every track on 4:44.
