Just shortly after unleashing his long-awaited diss record for Joe Budden, Drake took to Instagram to unearth a letter he wrote to his mother back in 2006. In the hand-written piece, he apologizes for his excessive eBay spending. In addition, he thanked for “temporarily funding my music and wardrobe.” Back then, he was wrapping his stint at Canadian teen soap opera Degrassi and was trying to break into the music game.
