A couple months after promoting his new studio album with the smooth “Trouble on Central,” fast-rising West Coast artist Buddy links up with pop superstar Khalid for a new single titled “Trippin.”

Today’s new Buddy track comes to us on the heels of high-profile collaborative records with Ty Dolla $ign and A$AP Ferg, and finds Buddy at his lyrical best. Notably, the record is about substance-imbued adventures and positive mindsets, although Khalid comes through with words of wisdom about the darker side of drug-fueled days and nights.

You can stream Buddy and Khalid’s new “Trippin” collaboration above, while Buddy’s Harlan & Alondra album is scheduled to drop on July 20 via Cool Lil Company/RCA Records.

Earlier this month, a video surfaced for Khalid, 6LACK and Ty Dolla $ign’s “OTW.”
