Big Freedia Could Appear in Drake's "In My Feelings" Video
The two were spotted together in New Orleans.
Even though her vocals were used for Drake‘s song “Nice For What,” Big Freedia didn’t appear in the music video. However, it looks like she might appear in the video for Drake’s forthcoming “In My Feelings” video. On Tuesday, Freedia posted a photo of herself with the Toronto rapper on Instagram and wrote an “#inmyfeelings” hashtag. Several people also spotted the two in New Orleans where he was rumored to be shooting the video for the smash hit.
In an interview with The FADER, Freedia spoke about not being included in the “Nice For What” video. “You know, my voice be on a lot of different stuff and people want to use bounce music as a part of their music but when it comes to the proper recognition of me being in the video, that’s something that we’re steady working towards to make it happen,” she said. “The credits are important but, for me, it’s still putting New Orleans on the map and I’m happy with the check.”
“In My Feelings” was the third record off of Scorpion to earn a No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
