Richard D. James, also known as Aphex Twin has released a new song called “Korg Funk 5,” which samples his son’s voice and fully utilizes several Korg instruments. Accompanied by the track is an interview with Korg engineer Tatsuya Takahashi on the Warp Records website. It’s an extensive interview that covers technique, James and Takahashi’s collaboration on Korg’s Monologue synthesizer and avoiding creative repetition.
