adidas Originals Updates the ZX 500 OG Silhouette
A sleek upgrade.
Ahead of the arrival of Goku-themed take on the silhouette, adidas Originals have returned to the original ZX 500 silhouette to give it a sleek update. The key change here is the addition of a full-length BOOST midsole which replaces the traditional foam tooling of the first sneaker. Other new features include an updated upper with fused stripes and re-engineered mesh underlays.
The sneaker is set to release in two colorways including a nod to the to the grey, white and red colors of the original. The second colorway features a “Stone Grey” upper, which is offset with “Candy Floss Pink” accents on the tongue and midsole inserts. Both colorways will arrive at size? on July 7, with each pair priced at £120 (approx. $160 USD).
