Vans Drops Skate-Ready "Rubber Cap" Pack
Featuring new touches for durability and impact protection.
After its recent Marvel collaboration, Vans has gone back to its skate roots for its latest release. The “Rubber Cap” pack sees a selection of classic Vans silhouettes — the Era Pro, Slip-On Pro and AV Classic Pro — updated with a series of new touches to increase their skate functionality.
The new features include a semi-circular rubber patch — hence the capsule’s name — on each sneaker’s lateral side to increase durability. Elsewhere, the shoes in the pack also feature an Ultra Cush HD sockliner to maximize impact protection. For the colorways, Vans has wrapped the sneakers in a green and black color palette. The Vans “Rubber Cap” capsule is available now from retailers including Premier.
