Back in May, Elon Musk announced that The Boring Company’s underground LA tunnel was almost done, and just recently, the infrastructure imprint gave a preview of its tunnel transit platform in action. In a short clip uploaded to YouTube, The Boring Company shows a test run of a Tesla Model X car zoom through a tunnel, offering a look at how the futuristic underground system will work.

The Boring Company’s Model X test run might look slightly slower than what one would expect from a SpaceX-related company, but the alternative transit system will alleviate traffic congestion from traditional driving roads by transporting cars and pods, containing pedestrians and cyclists, to-and-from mini-stations.

Check out the video above and let us know what you think in the comments. In related news, The Boring Company’s flamethrowers have arrived.
