Taylor Bennett Teams Up With Urban Outfitters for "Roof Gone" Visual
The UO Music Video Series continues.
Taylor Bennett (Chance the Rapper’s brother) has unveiled a new video for one of the opening tracks on his February project Restoration of an American Idol. Linking up with director Austin Veseley, Taylor Bennett delivers a visual for the CEO Beatz-produced “Roof Gone.” Bennett’s latest vignette serves as the 28th entry in Urban Outfitters‘ own Music Video Series; UO also teamed up with Bennett a couple weeks ago for the brand’s new Pride collection.
“The vision is to keep the concept as close to the track’s verses, as well as creating a new visual narrative on what could’ve been seen or what could’ve been assumed by hearing the song,” Bennett tells UO, breaking down today’s release. The 21-year-old also thinks viewers should be able to “watch the video on mute and still enjoy” the piece, and expresses a belief that his new video will go down as a “classic.”
