Playboi Carti & Southside Get Animated for "Ain't Doin That" Video
A standout cut off the ‘Trap Ye: Season 2’ tape.
Back in February, renowned Atlanta super-producer and rapper Southside served up a new full-length project titled Trap Ye: Season 2. Released as part of his 29th birthday celebration, the tape delivered 20 new tracks to listeners and featured collaborations with Playboi Carti, G Herbo — who has worked with Southside frequently in recent months — and Bookie T. Continuing to support Trap Ye: Season 2, the “Mood” artist has shared the official video for the project’s standout Playboi Carti collaboration.
Taking the animated approach, Southside and Playboi Carti become cartoon characters for the creative “Ain’t Doin That” visual. However, the clip for “Ain’t Doin That” doesn’t stray too far away from the usual rap music video formula: there’s plenty of cash, cars, women and substances.
