RZA to Tap Atari's Catalog for New Album
Bobby Digital looks to add some retro game flavor to his beats.

As Pitchfork reports, Wu-Tang Clan rapper/producer RZA just revealed that he and Atari will be joining forces on a new album. The project is said to feature music and sounds from the interactive company’s video games catalog. This isn’t the first time that RZA has worked with Atari — he previously lent voiceover work for a graffiti-inspired game that was released in 2006. Not much more information has been given about the special collaboration, but RZA did tell Billboard that “I’m so excited to work on these iconic games to deliver what I believe will be one of my best albums.”

Also, you can look forward to a special project between RZA and Interpol’s Paul Banks that is set to release in August.
