Rihanna's Next Video Will Be the First Music Video to Debut in IMAX Theaters

Following up her recently-released single with Calvin Harris, Rihanna dropped a new single earlier this week. Entitled “Sledgehammer,” the record was released in support of the new Star Trek film Star Trek Beyond and its official soundtrack. Now, it looks like the official visual for the song will receive the same silver screen treatment as the movie it was created for. Taking to Instagram, Rihanna has revealed plans to make her next major music video “first ever music video to premiere” via IMAX Theaters. Rihanna announced plans to debut the clip at Imax Theaters tomorrow at 9 A.M. EST, while a general release will hit TIDAL and VEVO at 10 A.M. EST.
