Is Drake Filming the "One Dance" Video in South Africa?
Aided by Popcaan.
You’ve heard POTUS Barack Obama spit “One Dance,” now it looks like you’ll soon be able to see Drake himself perform the song for its official music video. As FADER reports, Drake is reportedly in South Africa filming the visual for “One Dance.” Drake, Popcaan, Soweto dance crew Material Culture, Kyla, Apple’s director of original music content Larry Jackson and Drake himself have all been in or are currently in South Africa, with pictures of the aforementioned high-profile figures strewn across social media. Drake was also at Nelson Mandela Centre of Memory earlier this week. No official word regarding the video shoot has emerged, but thanks to FADER’s reporting, it looks like we have some solid information to go by. Check out some clips and pictures pieced together by FADER below.
