Nike celebrates one of France’s historical monuments for its latest special drop.

Here the Swoosh honors the world’s oldest indoor basketball court — Paris’s 1893 Trevie gym — with new pairs of Dunks inspired entirely by the venue. To produce the Dunk Low PRM QS “Paris,” Nike conducted a thorough research effort to create the sneakers’ designs, choosing to create shoes that cleverly reflect all the physical qualities of the aforementioned Paris YMCA location. For materials, Nike utilized well-aged leather for optimal durability and support and to bring the concept to life. From the grooves in the Trevise gym’s floor and the wood used in the building’s construction to the commemorative plaque that proudly adorns its walls and the court’s training ropes, Nike’s attention to detail is exceptional here, channeling all of the details for some of the most unique Dunks around.

You can take a look at Nike’s new Dunk Low PRM QS “Paris” — in both colorways — above. The shoe is now available for purchase in France.

For more striking new Dunks, check out February’s black “Deconstructed” pack.
