MØ Unveils Video for New Single Co-Written by MNEK, "Final Song"
You’re going to hear this track everywhere this summer.
Last month, globe-trotting songstress MØ returned with a brand new solo record, “Final Song.” Billed as her next major single, the song featured writing from the multi-talented Lemonade collaborator MNEK and came to us alongside news of a new joint single alongside Justin Bieber and Major Lazer. Today, MØ serves up the official visual in support of the effort. To introduce and break down today’s video, the “Lean On” singer had this to stay in a statement about the Mister Whitmore-directed flick:
I really wanted this video to tell the story of being reconnected with your inner strength – that spark within you that keeps you going. I wanted it to illustrate what the song means to me: from being fragile; to surrendering to the open space; to slowly regaining your power; before demanding the spirit-animal come back to you. It’s different from my previous videos – it’s a bit more spiritual and fragile – but I think it’s important to change sometimes, and especially when the song calls for a soul searching moment.
