Fool’s Gold‘s annual Day Off is an end-of-summer institution. For seven years running, the all-day event has become a celebration of everything the beloved, genre-crossing Brooklyn label stands for – a musical slip ‘n slide, connecting the city’s livest, most stylish fans and and a Who’s Who of new-school legends. This year you’ll find Lil Yachty on the billboard along with two generations of Harlem kings in Dipset legend Juelz Santana and rising star Dave East. FG chief A-Trak setting it off as a maestro behind the decks (and a conductor of special guests like none other), and fellow turntablist Gaslamp Killer providing his signature psychedelic bass. With label familia Nick Catchdubs, Meyhem Lauren, Leaf and more keeping the party going all day long, it’s another can’t-miss Fool’s Gold event. It goes down on Saturday, August 20 in Brooklyn.
