While the NBA caught many folks by surprise when they called upon pop-rock veteran Pat Monahan to serve as their featured musical guest for the NBA Finals, ESPN made sure their music curation was a little more well-rounded, especially with the use of Kendrick Lamar’s latest DAMN. album. Several of K-Dot’s songs were used throughout the finals, most notably “HUMBLE.” and even this previously unreleased version of “DNA.” that was heard throughout the five games and popped up again with new lyrics during highlights from the Warriors’ celebration.
