Dr. Dre & 50 Cent Get Sued Over 2003 Hit, “P.I.M.P”

A producer named Brandon Parrott is suing 50 Cent and Dr. Dre for Fiddy’s 2003 hit Get Rich Or Die Tryin’ single, “P.I.M.P.” Reported by TMZ, Parrott claims that he had sent 10 tracks to Aftermath Entertainment in 2001. The track called “BAMBA” was used two years later without his knowledge or consent on “P.I.M.P.,” and Denaun Porter of D12 is listed as the producer of the track. In addition, Brandon believes that he was taken advantage of in a settlement that he signed at the time and is seeking compensation for it. Stay tuned for more on this.
