The Cleveland Cavaliers Have Won Their First NBA Title
LeBron also picked up Finals MVP for the third time in his career.

In a nail-biting rematch of last year’s final against the Golden State Warriors, The Cleveland Cavaliers are officially the 2016 NBA champions. Beating Golden State 93 – 89, the Cavs were led to victory by LeBron James, who also picked up Finals MVP honors for his postseason efforts, including 40-point games for Games 5 and 6 and his outstanding performance today. Game 7 was one tight contest – there were over 20 lead switches – but in the end, the Cavs managed to secure their first ever title at the Oracle Arena in Oakland, California.
