International art organization APPortfolio has teamed up with Los Angeles-based artist Gary Baseman on a limited edition sculpture titled, “Ahwroo.” Baseman originally created the character of “Ahwroo” back in 2012, which has now been crafted into a collectors item. Formed from their collaborative efforts is a unique and exotic piece of art inspired by people’s desires, sex, and untouchable beauty. Taking on a half monkey, half monster persona, the hand-painted “Ahwroo” bears a snaggle-toothed grin helping him to express his want of attention.

Limited to just 300 pieces, each sculpture will come with a specific limited edition number. The APPortfolio x Gary Baseman “Ahwroo” sculpture will be launching on June 11 at 10 p.m. EDT priced at $340 USD. Interested buyers can head over to APPortfolio’s website to purchase. ”Ahwroo” sits a 21cm H x 29cm L x 16.5cm W.
