The Reissued adidas Originals Continental 80 Gets a Release Date
Dropping as part of the “YUNG Series.”
adidas Originals is set to drop its archival Continental 80 silhouette as part of its “YUNG Series,” which will also see the YUNG-1 in “Chalk White/Collegiate Navy” release. The silhouette — originally released in the late 1980s — is arguably best known for its similarity to the YEEZY Powerphase sneaker.
The new release will see a one-for-one reproduction of the original sneaker, with a white upper offset by a two-tone running along the upper. The sneaker is constructed from premium leather, with a terry cloth lining and a double cupsole. The latest installment in the “YUNG Series” — including the Continental 80 reissue — is set to release worldwide on June 20.
In other adidas Originals news, the label has added mint green to the NMD_R1.
