The viral sensation that is Mason Ramsey, aka the yodeling Walmart boy, seems to be keeping on his meteoric rise. After a surprise performance at this year’s Coachella and releasing his first single “Famous”, Mason Ramsey continues to remain on everyone’s radar, having just dominated the Spotify charts this past weekend.
Manson’s “Famous” single has just become the most-streamed country song on Spotify in the U.S., hitting over 3.2 million streams thus far. The 11-year-old also currently sits at the No. 2 spot on iTune’s country charts in both the U.S. and U.K., and No. 6 overall. Mason Ramsey is also responsible for helping country singer Hank Williams’ “Lovesick Blues” single see a jump of over 2,000%. “Lovesick Blues” is the same track Ramsey was yodeling to in his viral performance.
