Aside from his recent Louis Vuitton appointment, Virgil Abloh continues to shake up the contemporary fashion world — footwear in particular — with his ongoing sneaker narrative alongside Nike. Granted a sneak peek last month, new images of their collaborative Blazer Mid has popped up on Instagram via kickwhofactory, not only providing us an alternate look but early release info as well.
Seen above in a trio of signature color schemes, including “Black/Cone,” “Wolf Grey/Pure Platinum/Black/Cool Grey” and “Canvas/Pale Vanilla/Black/Total Orange,” each model features Virgil’s Off-White™ descriptive text on the medial side with an oversized Swoosh detail that dips into the side, midsole and heel areas. According to rumors, both the black and grey models will drop in September, while the vanilla-themed model may debut in July.
In other statement sneaker news, the COMME des GARÇONS PLAY x Converse Chuck Taylor All Star ’70 returns in high & low-top models.
