Mercedes-AMG Unwraps the GT S Roadster

Mercedes-AMG latest flagship GT for 2019 comes in the form of a roadster. The open-air sports car is powered by a AMG 4.0-litre V8 bi-turbo engine, and will come in three variants: the AMG GT, AMG GT S and AMG GT C, boasting 476 hp, 552 hp, and 557 hp, respectively. Meant as an alternative to those seeking the performance-packed GT Roadster, the GT S maintains a lightweight aluminum spaceframe along with a seven-speed dual clutch transmission and a rear-axle locking differential.
Capable of reaching a top speed of 316 km/h, with an acceleration of 1-100 km/h in 3.7 seconds, the beefed-up AMG GT S is set to hit dealerships later this year.
