Umbro and Akomplice's Latest Team up Is One for the Football Fans
Classic footwear essentials remixed.
As football fans gear up for the 2018 FIFA World Cup this June, English sportswear label Umbro and streetwear imprint Akomplice have aligned on a new collaboration in honor of the Beautiful Game.
Created for the Spring/Summer 2018 season, the capsule collection sees a lot of classic Umbro pieces, such as the footy kit and track-jacket, remixed by Akomplice, in turn combining streetwear sensibilities with the pragmatic, yet attractive design of football gear from the ‘80s. Other noteworthy designs of the collab includes words such as “Fear” and “Love” to “Control” and “Trust” with the negative opposite meanings crossed out. Take a look at the photoset above.
