Ricardo Cavolo & Superplastic Launch Limited Edition 'Garth' Vinyl Figure
Marking the celebrated Spanish artist’s first art toy.
Multitalented Spanish artist Ricardo Cavolo joined forces with fledgling toy manufacturer Superplastic on a new limited vinyl figure dubbed Garth.
The collaborative collectible boasts Cavolo’s popular iconography comprised of vibrant colors, psychedelic imagery such as quadruple eyes, and traditional folk art motifs. The figure marks the artist’s first tangible art object which is part of Superplastic’s special edition series centering upon the “Janky” toy model. A total of 16 international artists including Cavolo have produced unique designs for the ongoing installment, including Huck Gee, mcbess, Camilla d’Enrico, Jake Parker, and Pete Fowler to name a few.
