Grimes Debuts New Version of "California" in Its Video
Grimes is producing some of the best visuals in music right now.
After teasing and introducing it last week, Grimes has finally shared the official video for her Art Angels track “California.” However, as opposed to the version we hear on the album it belongs to, the version of “California” showcased here presents a different sound than the one we initially heard. No one will probably have a problem with it, though; new Grimes is always a good thing. The “California” video is self-directed with assistance from Grimes’s brother Mac, and features appearances from Purity Ring’s Megan James, Born Gold, model Eric Cheng, HANA and more.
