Jetpacks Are Coming to 'Fortnite Battle Royale'

Jetpacks have been confirmed to arrive for Fortnite as part of its v4.2 content update, scheduled to go live early on May 22. It appears the jetpacks may be tied to a new limited time mode called “Close Encounters,” which is speculated to revolve around item and shotguns.
Although the jetpack will be added, they’ll only stay for a limited time, according to Epic Games. After briefly appearing in the in-game client tab, fans have requested the feature and they’ve even grown to become a meme.
