adidas Originals Rascal "Core Black" Gets a Release Date
Powerphase without ‘Ye.

After recently stepping out in white and off-white versions, as well as a neon yellow look back in 2017, adidas Originals‘ Rascal model is now releasing in “Core Black.” The OG silhouette, formerly known as the Continental 80 Rascal, is a slim, retro ’80s-inspired model much in line with the trending YEEZY Powerphase — but without the Kanye link.
The adidas Originals Rascal has a simple design consisting of a tonal black leather upper and rubber cupsole. Embellishments are kept minimal with a thin red and navy ribbon stripe across the side panel, slightly perforated detailing near the mudguard and toe, and adidas branding next to the laces, at the tongue tab and heel counter.
You’ll be able to pick up the adidas Originals Rascal in “Core Black,” alongside white and yellow colorways, on June 20 at select adidas Originals retailers worldwide. For more slim sneakers, check out Nike’s stripped-back Air Max Plus Tn model in “Black/Orange.”
