adidas Consortium‘s upcoming UltraBOOST Mid sheds light on the creative process behind the finished product. Dubbed the “Prototype,” this iteration shares asymmetrical details — different hues — on the left and right sneakers as an ode to the decision-making process. The upper hosts Primeknit weaving in neon yellow with suede accents and contrasting white stitching throughout. Collegiate navy and grey overlays complement its strong base as it rests atop the famed BOOST cushioning.

Browse the shots above as designer Marc Dolce makes a cameo sketching the new model (Disclaimer: Marc did not design this sneaker however, Aurelien Longo is the man behind this creation.). The adidas Consortium UltraBOOST Mid “Prototype” launches on May 26 at select retailers for $220 USD. Let us know if you plan on copping and also check out its first look too.
