Watch Elastigirl Take Center Stage in a New Trailer for 'Incredibles 2'
Hitting theaters on June 15.
Ahead of the June 15 release date, Disney and Pixar have released a new trailer for Incredibles 2, with the first new footage since the clip aired during the Olympics. The new trailer gives a good indication of what to expect from the movie, which is set to focus on Elastigirl and will pick up where the 2004 original movie ended.
Clues to this are given in the clip with Mr. Incredible and Elastigirl’s daughter, Violet Parr, describing “Mom’s new job” as the “elephant in the room” before footage of the superhero in action. Also included in the clip is a meeting with a billionaire intending to use Elastigirl as the face of a campaign to bring superheroes back into the mainstream. While this is going on, Mr. Incredible is left to raise the children and teach baby Jack Jack how to use his powers.
Pixar also recently released the first clip from its Bao short film, that will play before Incredibles 2.
