Gotye Returns with Cover of Prince's "Sometimes It Snows In April"
A very rare Gotye appearance.
Gotye has just made a rare appearance to pay tribute to Prince by covering the late legend’s 1986 classic “Sometimes It Snows In April.” As Stereogum notes, Prince publicly expressed his appreciation for Gotye back in 2013 when he handed over the Grammy award for Record Of The Year to the “Somebody That I Used To Know” singer-songwriter. “Love this song,” Prince said to Gotye as he handed over the coveted award. Gotye has been pretty silent on the music front in recent months, but the passing of Prince appears to have had a pretty serious impact on him.
