Donald Glover's 'Atlanta' and Beyoncé's "Lemonade" Win Peabody Awards
Both projects just piling on the awards.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, both Beyoncé and Donald Glover came away as big winners at this year’s Peabody Awards. The media awards ceremony recognizes key accomplishments in radio, television and online with Beyoncé’s Lemonade and Glover’s Atlanta coming away victorious. Adding on to the growing list of wins for each artist’s respected projects, Lemonade picked up a pair of Grammy wins earlier this year, including Best Urban Contemporary Album. Equally as impressive is Atlanta, scoring a pair of wins at the Golden Globes, including Best Television Series — Comedy or Musical and Best Actor in a TV Series — Comedy or Musical.
