BMW Introduces Fully Electric Concept iX3 SUV
Taking the crossover SUV into the future.

BMW revises its X3 SUV into the sleek, electricity-powered Concept iX3. Incorporating blue highlights from other BMW i models, the crossover concept offers an electric motor able to rev up to 268 horsepower, 20 hp higher than the standard four-cylinder X3. Its motor sources power from a 70 kWh battery purportedly able to grant about 249 miles, with fast charging options granting the car a full charge within 30 minutes. Though concepts aren’t always indicative of what the production model will look like, BMW reports that the production iteration of the Concept iX3 will offer similar looks.
The luxury car company posits that the production model will arrive in 2020.
