Week after week, sneaker brands, known and unknown, release new models, colorways, collaborations and retros to continue the stirring of sneaker culture’s melting pot. The competition has risen over the years with the introduction of new technology and the use of celebrity influencers, thus presenting an even larger variety of selections for sneakerheads and casual shoppers alike.

J.W. Anderson x Converse “New_Classics”

J.W. Anderson and Converse complete a collaborative trio with the “New_Classics” release. The release follows previous “Glitter_Gutter” and “Simply_Complex” launches with a ballet inspiration. The Chuck 70 XX is presented in Hi and Low iterations with leather details and cotton knit material.

adidas AlphaBOUNCE Beyond “Run the Game”

Release Price: $100 USD, available via select adidas retailers and adidas.com

adidas’ new AlphaBOUNCE Beyond model adds a one-piece forged mesh upper atop its EVA BOUNCE midsole. Three Stripes athletes such as Damian Lillard and James Harden sport its Grey/Carbon-Solid Grey colorway with a Continental rubber outsole.

Nike Air Max 98 (Pure Platinum/Obsidian)

Nike’s Air Max 98 makes another return mixing pure platinum and obsidian. Its full-length Air Max unit supports an upper with subtle branding and loads of detail. Pure platinum makes up the majority of its underlay with an overlay incorporating obsidian, teal and hints of pink towards the heel.

Nike Vapor Street Flyknit “Sequoia” & “River Rock”

Release Price:  $180 USD, available via select Nike Running retailers and Nike SNKRS

Nike’s Vapor Street Flyknit hits shelves in earthy tones. Its “Sequoia” and “River Rock” colorways share Flyknit uppers with a thick sole unit. The streamlined design is highlighted by a large Swoosh logo that spans from its upper to midsole.

Nike Air VaporMax Plus “Volt”

One of Nike’s newest hybrid creation sees a familiar colorway. The Air VaporMax Plus incorporates the “Volt” theme used on the classic Air Max 95. The heel’s small Swoosh logo adds the aforementioned hue to complement its neoprene upper. The blacked-out VaporMax unit matches its overlay with additional branding placed on the tongue and heel.

Air Jordan 18 “Gym Red”

Jordan Brand digs into its vault, adding a twist to the Air Jordan 18. Its new Gym Red/Black colorway gains inspiration from the Air Jordan 5Toro” iteration. Suede coats its upper with translucent detailing found on the outsole. Black complements the Gym Red on its logos and midsole area.

Air Jordan 32 “Black Cat”

Inspired by the Air Jordan 2, the Air Jordan 32 mixes the past and present. Its “Black Cat” edition pays homage to the popular color scheme placed on the Air Jordan 4. On each heel you’ll find six rings as a nod to Michael Jordan‘s NBA Championships. An iridescent shine is added to the various logos as it rests atop a translucent outsole.
