Balenciaga is proving to take the lead in the luxury sneaker category with a follow-up to its flagship Triple S. While the aforementioned chunky sneaker’s success is still going strong, Balenciaga’s Fall/Winter 2018 footwear model is evidence that the Demna Gvasalia-led brand is no one-trick-pony when it comes to statement sneakers.

Balenciaga’s latest silhouette takes cues from functional trail runners, featuring trek-heavy detailing and construction that makes room for various color options and a statement sole. The latest image of the model, courtesy of Instagram user @sneakerboy, offers a good look at four colorways to come.

Let us know your thoughts on Balenciaga’s newest sneaker model and which colorway is your favorite in the comments below. In the meantime, check out the latest “Bred”-inspired Balenciaga Triple S colorway, which should be hitting shelves soon.
