Yohji Yamamoto and adidas Team up for Trio Of "Takusan" Sneakers
Low and high top offerings in black and white.
Yohji Yamamoto and adidas once again work together to bring forth a muted batch of stylish warm weather sneakers. The “Takusan” silhouette comes to life in both low and high top iterations and sports Yamamoto’s preferred black and white coloring. Its low version will offer both black and white options while the high top version is completely covered in black with only the designer’s signature appearing in white font stitched onto the heel.
All three pairs feature wax laces and cotton uppers paired with hand-cut rubber outsoles and cowhide trim. This unique design is the perfect complement to the Fall/Winter 2018 styles shown by the Japanese designer’s namesake label at Paris Fashion Week: Men’s earlier this year. You can expect these sneakers to start hitting retailers in the coming days with shops like H. Lorenzo already stocking them for $615 USD for the low top in black.
