A First Look at the Nike Air Max 98-Inspired, Air Max Axis

After re-imaging the Air Max 90 with its new EZ silhouette, Nike recently revealed a first look at the Air Max 98-inspired Air Max Axis.
Sporting similar design cues signature to the ’90s retro runner, the Air Max Axis is a contemporary sneaker that utilizes cutting-edge technology for a clean and sleek look. The upper of the new silhouette features a seamless mesh upper accented by dynamic lines formed by the lightweight synthetic overlays. While “AIR” lace hoops, reduced Swoosh branding and an exaggerated Air sole unit rounds up the design of the shoe.
No official release notes just yet, but expect the Air Max Axis to release soon at select Nike retailers in a variety of clean colorways.
