A First Look at George R.R. Martin’s 'Nightflyers' SYFY Show
Syfy’s most expensive show yet.
Syfy released the lead trailer for the forthcoming adaptation of George R.R. Martin’s Nightflyers. An ’80s science-horror story, Nightflyers is set to hit television as a 10-episode series. R.R. Martin calls it “Psycho in space,” alluding to its combination of familiar horror film and science fiction themes. Nightflyers shines the spotlight of the crew of the Nightflyer spaceship as they head out on a quest for a “mythical alien species”; far from a turbulence-free journey, the trek soon leads them into the most terrifying of troubles. As The Hollywood Reporter notes, Nightflyers will be Syfy’s most expensive TV series yet.
