Hackrod & Siemens Produce First-Ever Car Designed in Virtual Reality and Printed in 3D

California-based digital manufacturing company Hackrod in conjunction with Siemens, together, look to revolutionize forward-thinking car design by producing the world’s first virtual reality-designed, 3D-printed automobile. “La Bandita” stems from the belief that customers will soon be able to conceptually design and print their own creations, using developing technology of course.

The leadership team, helmed by a movie director and an aerospace engineer was brought together through a common interest in both cars and driving, though, strategically put in place to help see this futuristic venture see the light of day.
