FILA Releases BNP Paribas Open Original Tennis 2.0 Knit Model & Drifter Slides
Slide straps made from tennis ball material.
FILA isn’t slowing down with its collaborations. Following link-ups with Fendi, Liam Hodges and Holypop, the iconic sportswear label now partners with the BNP Paribas Open (aka Indian Wells) tennis tournament on a limited edition sneaker and slide model.
The two-shoe collection features an Original Tennis 2.0 Knit model that sports a white knit upper and green nylon sock-liner, with hits of navy at the outsole, heel pull tabs, lace trims and FILA insignia. Complementing the sneaker is a Drifter Slide that boasts a yellow forefoot strap made from tennis ball material, a navy rubber sole and BNP Paribas Open and FILA branding.
Each pair will come in a special edition co-branded custom box, however, the capsule is available exclusively at the FILA pop-up at the BNP Paribas Open in California. In the meantime, check out Paterson’s ’80s-era tennis-inspired Spring/Summer 2018 collection.
