Amazon's Internal Documents Show How Many Subscribers It Has
For the first time along with value performances.

Following news of Jeff Bezoz being the first person to be worth over $100 billion USD dollars, international news company Reuters releases a report on the strategic value of Amazon‘s video programming for Prime members. According to the media outlet, Amazon’s internal documents disclosed that the total U.S. audience is close to 26 million customers, a number previously kept secret. Furthermore, the internal information compares an Amazon-developed metric called “first stream” for 19 exclusive Amazon shows in order to gauge payoff.
The exclusive shows called Prime Originals are credited for a customer to start or extend a Prime subscription. Amazon calculates the cost of acquisition by dividing the show’s cost by the number of “first streams” each show had. The lower the number reflects better performance for a show.
